bittersweet times

life can be so hard.....Beth, I'm so sorry for your loss of both of your pets....you just want to crawl in bed and put a post it note to postpone life for awhile. But God is able and strong to carry us through the painful times. amen....then add your birthday on top of that....it's so hard to celebrate when you feel so much sadness. this happened a few years ago....we decided to postpone a birthday and pick another day to celebrate....we lost our German Short hair pointers, both of them, in the span of a few months....we cried for days....today we have another one, a German wired hair, Deutsch Drahtaaur....anyway, today he was on top of the air conditioning unit in the back yard, barking and barking..my son discovered there was a dead little bird on top of the patio cover, and Bear just wanted to get that bird, so he was practically up on the patio cover, I think this dog is going to break something back there, he's already destroyed any sign of "pretty" back there, but like you said, we are dog people and will be till the Lord takes us home. bless you, dear one during this time...and Happy Birthday....we can celebrate in San Antonio in August., hey?
